Are You Insured?
Sierra Dog Ventures is the only fully insured dog walker in town. We also require each owner to fill out a service agreement before starting with all of the information regarding liabilities that come along with what we do. We also require each dog to be current with vet records to maintain a healthy environment!
How do I know my dog is safe with you?
You would be hard pressed to find someone who loves dogs more than us. Our dogs are our children and we assume that is the case with all dogs and their owners. We are also Dog CPR and First Aid certified! On each walk we will carry a first aid kit tailored towards dogs, plenty of water and bowls and extra leashes and collars, just in case! You will also receive lots of photos of your dog adventuring while they're with us so you know they're having the time of their lives.
Do you discriminate toward certain breeds?
Absolutely not! We know dogs are just like humans; each unique with their own set of personalities. We work with both big breeds, small breeds, on-leash dogs and off-leash dogs. We will always do what we can to accommodate your dog in any way we can. Precautions will need to be taken if your dog poses a threat to us or others (dogs and humans alike) but will be assessed on a case by case basis.
Can you still pick my dog up even if I'm not home?
ABSOLUTELY! You can leave us detailed access instructions and we can even provide you with a lockbox for your house key's safe keeping.
Do you operate year round?
Yes we do! We will close on really horrible weather days however can still offer potty breaks in lieu of walks as we know you pup still needs to get out. We have dog booties and Musher's paste to help protect paws in rough conditions. We do recommend providing your own jackets or booties if you know your dog is sensitive to the cold/harsh conditions.
